About PDR
Paintless dent repair (PDR) is a highly specialized technique used to repair cars that have door dings, hail damage, small indentations or body creases. It was first used over 50 years ago at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Germany, and over time, new tools, techniques and training methods have evolved. When using PDR, there is no adding or damaging the existing car paint. It is most effectively used on cars that have smooth dents. It is not used on cars that have paint damage, but it can help prepare the damaged car before its repainted.
If you are thinking of using PDR as a method of fixing your car, keep in mind that we will need to have access to the back of the dent in order to fix the car. The PDR method is used by pushing the dent inside out. If it’s necessary to drill holes into the dent, PDR method may not be used. If you think your vehicle might be a good fit for PDR, bring it by so we can take a look. If we are able to fix it, it will save you time and money over traditional, more invasive repair methods.
